It's really no excuse, but the last month has been crazy busy, and I haven't always remembered how I've gotten to work (mostly week 50). I'm usually much more likely to track my commutes when I ride since it gives me an opportunity to log in my bus/LRT fare savings into a Google doc spreadsheet. Yes, I know how nerdy that is, but I do what I can to keep the cycling and public accounting tied together.
I had to drive alone for most of weeks 51 & 52 which has been quite rare for me over the past few months. It did give me the chance to listen to the radio before and after the workday, plus it's always nice to catch a sight of the late afternoon rays hitting the Minneapolis skyline, so overall it could have been worse. Even though I love finishing the day on the bike, it does take a bit extra time to change from my accounting costume to cycling gear to casual wear at home so it was also nice to skip a step in there.

I love that you refer to your "accounting costume" on your blog.
I wish it came with a cape. Though I suppose you could leave your trench coat unbuttoned for the same effect.
Maybe I'll get in touch with R. Campbell when we're back in CF, see if he can recommend a good cape dealer...
